Producer Thelonious Martin, who’s tenacious ability to see sounds can only be described as otherworldly, has recently dropped a new instrumental titled ‘Sleep Pattern.’ The name is pretty fitting considering that while listening to the beat, it puts you in a 2 minute and 28 second melodious trance. ‘Sleep Pattern’ is a music lovers dream, whether you’re a poet, a rapper or a painter looking for something to vibe and create art to.

If you aren’t familiar with Thelonious Martin, he has produced music for the likes of Action Bronson, Hodgy Beats and Mac Miller just to name a few. The 20-year-old’s (Yes, he’s only 20!) beats infuse so many different elements as it reflects the fact that he listens to funk, soul and jazz more than he does hip hop. This comes as no surprise being that he draws inspiration from a select few producers, ranging from Just Blaze to MF DOOM to the late, great J Dilla. You can always pick up that he is wholehearted in connection to his craft—always carefully placing together the pieces to make a seamless musical masterpiece. With that said, ‘Sleep Pattern’ is indeed another one of his musical masterpieces, so sit back and take a listen.
